Our energy efficient replacement windows are made of a vinyl frame, double paned glass, and come with a standard Low-E coating and argon gas. We also have triple paned glass available (though we think they are not necessary for the area of the country we live in). And, you can have grids (any bar that divides window glass into smaller panes) or no grids in your replacement windows.

Both the top and bottom sashes slide open and can be titled to almost a 180 degree angle which allows for exterior glass cleaning to be done from the inside! Also, since they are sealed in vinyl, you will not have to worry about rotten wood replacement & painting costs on your window frames any longer.
Low-E Glass
Low-E glass has a microscopically thin, transparent coating – it is much thinner than a human hair – that reflects long-wave infrared energy (or heat). When the interior heat energy tries to escape to the colder outside during the winter, the Low-E coating reflects the heat back to the inside, reducing the radiant heat loss through the glass. The reverse happens during the summer time. Having a standard Low-E coating in your replacement windows will help you save energy, which in turn also means you will save money each month on your utilities.
Argon Gas Panes
Argon gas windows feature a sealed unit that is filled with gas between panes of glass to increase energy efficiency. Argon is an inexpensive, non-toxic, odorless gas that is used in replacement windows to prevent frost from occurring at the bottom of the window and at the same time will increase sound proofing characteristics of the window. This too will add to the utility friendly aspect of your home and wallet.
